exactly... what some of these "frick these money hungry kids" type of people don't realize is the institutions they represent are more money hungry than they are... they are making millions off these kids, why shouldn't these players try to get their piece of the pie? what's good for the goose is good for the gander, bro...

that being said, NIL is starting to ruin the overall landscape of college football, and i'd like to see it amended in a more feasible way...

This is another over-simplification. ALL players are going to want some money going forward, even the ones who come from families who are well off.

It’s not about players being “money hungry.” It’s about being smart and prioritizing and bringing in many more guys who put winning, their own development, and a future with a whole lot more money that comes from that ahead of the short-term small payday.
