Houston probably just has a better football team than Auburn this year, and Utah State was also ranked IIRC
The other 3 games are kind of head scratching. Power 5’s normally shouldn’t lose to service academies and UCF isn’t that good.

I figured Missouri was like 3-8 this season. I’m shocked they actually won enough games to be bowl eligible
The difference is that these G5 teams are actually really good football teams and these P5 teams they beat were bad this year when they had all their coaches and players. Now we have bad P5 teams playing bowl games with guys opting out, not playing because transfer portal, coaches not coaching because of being fired…throw covid in there and it’s a mess
