Ruger or Tikka are all you need. Spend the money on the scope.
I have a Ruger 247 that a buddy borrowed few years ago for his sons hunt. When he gave it back to me he told me never ever get rid of that gun. when sighting in scope at 100 yards it nailed the bullseye, then he shot it like 5 more times and couldn’t see it hitting anything so got range guy to help and they realized it was going through the same exact hole every single time. Just for fun they did it at 150 and 200 yards. It was as accurate as his 10k competition rifles.

My Ruger 30 06 has never missed. I have made some bad shots but can’t blame any on my rifle.

Spend your money on the scope. Your eyes and body are the weak link in any rifle hunting combo
