Gramps interviewed for the (Florida) A.D. gig during fall practice, after he had interviewed Florida announced that they were not going to continue their search until after the football season was over, and LSU should have indeed fired his arse then as Bob wanted but the BOS stopped him.

So, he won the first outright SEC title in 16-17 years and the 87 team under Archer went 10-1-1 and finished #5, which was our only top 5 finish between Dietzel last season and Saban in 2003
