As of 2 weeks ago (before signing day), Florida made a change to a law and updated their NIL rule. Anyone can now call the Univ of Florida and have this conversation with their compliance department
"I would like to cut a 20K check for player xyz on the swim team" The compliance will accept the funds and get it to the player.
What's the procedure at LSU?
Whatever it is, why is not being promoted?

I know these are rhetorical questions addressed to the board but we should know the answers to these questions. The fact that we don't means LSU is behind the NIL 8 ball.

If this is true this is a NCAA violation. The money CANNOT come from the school.
