It's called adapt or die. LSU makes enough and has enough big donors to stay top 5. We don't have Texas or TAMU money but if that was the only thing that mattered TAMU would've bought a championship this past century.

Idiots really think we aren’t about to be throwing around cheddar for players like everyone else just wait.

With all this money sloshing around, who gives a frick about championships other than fans. Under NIL you getting paid no matter what.

Let’s see.

Alabama
UGA
Texas
Texas A&M
Oregon
Florida
USC
Boone Pickens University
Michigan
Ohio state

If you’re talking strictly money. Then with the new NIL crap, LSU won’t be top 5.

This too shall pass. Imagine how pissed donors will be when they pay for a team full of ego-driven, money grubbing athletes who are all jealous of each other's NIL deals and the team can't jell and end up 7-5? It's going to topple under its own weight, eventually, and the NCAA will be called before congress to put a stop to the nonsense.

Remember when shady dealing was just that? It wasn't the norm and teams could face sanctions? SMU must be pissed right about now, but that school has big money alumni who can afford to pay for five-star athletes as well as anyone. If they want to.
