So, there's no way to use a splitter to control another tv, even if it means that both would just be on the same channel?

no way to split that I know of unless maybe just maybe you split the line after it comes out of the dtv box and before it goes into a tv but then you would have to switch channels on the tv with the box... not real sure if that would work or what kind of quality it would give you.

extra rooms are only 4.99 a month with dtv, free non dvr box, 20 bucks shipping is the only fee and if you talk to em right you can get that waived or get free shite to cover the cost.

You can use a splitter but you have to watch the same channel on both TVs

You should probably quit thinking or just do it better. You get your locals in HD and they have on-demand. Do your homework before you open your mouth.

I have had Directv for over 10 years and the only way I will go back to cable is if I have no alternative.

you suck at thinking

and this is from a guy that just left Directv

as to the question, I used to have my one receiver hooked to two tvs, but it was a pain in the arse because you had to watch the same thing on both.
