Interesting. Well I would say go to your store and check out what is on the labels. We are now even outsourcing engineering and architecture. (Thanks to high-speed internet). How many people in the US make their living because they work for the government?

Yeah that guy is a moron. The only country that produces more manufactured goods in pure dollar amounts is China and it's only about 10 percent more. Which is pathetic considering how much larger their population is and what percentage of their economy is manufacturing vs service sector compared to manufacturing. We have a massive service sector economy and still manufacture almost as much as the Chinese with a quarter of the population. That dude couldn't be more wrong or stupid if he tried.
