The truth probably lies somewhere in between both stories. Kiffin didn't exactly answer any questions from Wingo, which tells me he probably wasn't exactly truthful. What got me about the Davis interview was he said 'I handed him a letter, then he said I fedexed the letter.' How puss of a boss to give letters to their employees instead of talking to them. Then he fired him over the phone. Pitiful...

this is probably due to the strong likelihoodt hat he's going to have to sue the organization to recover the balance of his contract.

of all the things you could say about davis, "puss" isn't one of them .. in any professional organization, you need documentation for termination .. that's what his letter was .. if he can prove kiffin was fired for "just cause" he doesn't have to pay his contract .. that'll be the next fight ..

kiffin was way too young and not ready to be a head coach in the NFL .. i believe davis .. these mistakes made by kiffin sound like that of a guy that was in over his head ... trey wingo gave him ample opportunity to clear the air if what davis said in his letter were lies, and kiffin didn't do it ..
