Before I explain any more, frick the CDC. They have become a political body.

But they aren’t saying what you think they are saying. The CDC was suggesting that laboratories start using tests that look for COVID and the flu at the same time (a combination test) as opposed to just ordering a COVID test.

They never said that the COVID test CANT distinguish between COVID and the flu.

If they did, please link it and I will gladly say you are right.
