I had cords and Xiaflex worked well last year on both hands @ a younger age of 36.
It came back , at a more severe level, this year so it will be surgery.
I have one tissue bundle in my little finger that may have wrapped around a nerve , resulting in the odd itching.
Physician wants to be pretty aggressive cutting it out but leaving room for strategic scar tissue development since he thinks I may do this 3 - 5 times in my life.
His hope is next time it can go back to Xiaflex and manual cord pop.
Like I always say when people ask here , just go get it fixed as fast as possible. Xiaflex is expensive as hell but if I would have waited it could have entrapped the nerve or tendon and I'd be looking at a different situation.

Yeah I work at a nursing home as a therapist and have seen this condition
Usually the people i see are long term care residents so no matter how much hand therapy I do it won’t work
