Maybe I need to try again, I thought the first episode was pretty cheesy by more recent military/intelligence movie/show standards.

It breaks down the story into 3 parts so far. Episode 5 is the end of part 3.

I would disagree with it being well done. It's alright--RT of 68% is pretty accurate

Felt the same way. Haven’t been able to finish it (1st ep) on 3 attempts now due to cheesiness factor

Yeah, it gets way better. Shows like this usually don’t have the depth this show goes into for character development.

I am very interested where they go with the next part of the story.

Had the same issue. First few episodes had a lot of cheese, and could barely watch. The most recent 2 episodes (#4 & 5) have redeemed it a bit for me. It's now into the watchable range. Hope it continues to improve.

I do struggle with the lead actress' face, but it isn't a complete deterrent. Franka's cameo was a pleasant surprise.
