No MTV Challenge: Ride or Die thread??

I’m watching it now.
Laurel back. Yay.
Numerous gay dudes apparently. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
Turbo is back and already insane on the boat before they even get to the house.
Nelson gave a 20 second toast and only had about 4 or 5 grammatical errors. #improvement
Fessy is back and already falling for a girl who’s gonna play him. “Was I what you expected?” Man that idiot is so full of himself.
I don’t see John, but he’s on the little pop up advertisement at the bottom of the screen DURING the show.
Kaycee and her brother hd to leave. Anybody know what’s up with that? I assume maybe death in the family?
Mom’s partner Emmy has more makeup on than Nany’s cousin. Yikes.
Kailah is married to this Sam dude and said that he basically just found out her birthday “recently.” So her making stupid decisions seems about right.

Too many new faces currently, but I admittedly don't watch these other shows like Love Island.

The Rookies thought they finally had the upper hand on the vets. I'm not even sure they actually did have the numbers but that goes to shite with them bringing in what seems like 3 or 4 more bet duos as we go. So if Rookies go home the next few episodes, they're replaced by vets and lose all the numbers.

The rookies have the numbers if people like Jay, Michelle, Nam, Turbo, and Amber that are on their 2nd or 3rd season consider themselves rookies instead of veterans. I don't think anyone trusts Turbo though, he's basically a rogue agent in this game.
That would only have left Devin, Nelson, and Fessy for the guys, and Laurel, Tori, and Kailah and Kayce (both already eliminated) for the girls.
That's pretty lopsided, but add in Bananas, Nany, Jordan, Darrell, Veronica, and Aneesa and it changes. Although I don't see Aneesa and Veronica being threats to anyone anymore. They're going to struggle to win daily challenges to have any power.

I forgot just how annoying he was. Dude gets pissed at literally everything it seems like. I was surprised Devin was dumb enough to shout out Turbo about the daggers. That's just asking for trouble.
Although the same thing that annoys me also entertains me: his unhinged psychosis.
I really, REALLY hope Turbo is still around once Jordan gets brought in though. Jordan doing the "Turbo walk" is one of the funniest Challenge moments ever.

Bananas and Bill Simmons were DESTROYING his toast on Bananas’ podcast. Nelson is such a buffoon that I’m almost starting to like him. That speech was an absolutely perfect disaster.

Definitely seems like he'd be a great friend.
But he's obviously just so dumb. The other thing is he just tries so hard to come off as cool and it just doesn't work. Fessy does that too. They're not cool, leaders of the pack types but they think they are.
I don't know a single thing about any of these people outside of the Challenge but I get the feeling Nelson would be a good dude to know, and Fessy would be the complete opposite.

I know this is silly, but it makes me irrationally angry when people make these types of comparisons for Fessy. He is like CT if CT wasn’t a dominant, agile beast.
Fessy is a big bumbling oaf. He’s had a couple wins at Hall Brawl, but everything else he’s horrible at.
It’s hard to describe what the gap is IMO between CT and anyone else on the show. Challenges like that aerial one last year where the dude just casually dancing bear waltzed across something that no one else could even come close to finishing.
The dude is an absolute beast, and Fessy’s cocky arse is nothing like CT.

Absolutely. Apparently from the season previews, looks like Jordan hooks up with Nurys, too, while Tori is in the house. Cold blooded, but damn, she may be worth it.
