Why isn't Ben Simmons playing for Australia in the Olympics?

Seems like he'd be their best player and it'd get him more experience at a high level

Probably because there are zero positives playing for them. He ain't gonna win shite. Why risk an injury?

Exactly, people are ridiculous. He was the least of the problems with the basketball team.
He was just the #1 pick in the NBA draft. He's the face of a franchise now, he's not going to risk it when he has accomplished nothing. In 4 years, unless he is hurt, he will 100% be on the team.

Thank somebody with some sense why risk an injury when you're the face of a franchise and its your rookie year. Good job Ben. I'm rooting for Ben this year I hope he destroys the league
