Godchaux is better than LaCouture....
But yea I agree with what your saying. Valentine along with any LSU caliber DT would be intimidating

Valentine has never seen a college snap and Lacouture does not require double teams 
Excited to see these guys in the new system though. I'll believe Valentine when I see him
And yeah you totally missed the best freshman defensive tackle in the country last year

I don't really see Lacouture as a guy who's gonna demand double teams. But having Valentine may allow us to utilize some true 34 looks

Valentine's size and athleticism are prolly gonna require he be double teamed, which should free up Godchaux on one-on-one.

It's about time we're getting a nasty DLine again. Feels like forever since our line has gotten consistent pressure on the QB. With the talent we have and the addition of Orgeron, they should be fun to watch this year. Hopefully the offense puts it together and then we're talking about playoffs.

Godchaux would take Bain's place as the Strongside defensive end, swallowing offensive lineman whole in the process.

The most important aspect here is that now we could have 4 dependable DTs to rotate when we're inthe 4-3...don't forget QT is rehabing and hopeully will be 100%...I feel like the DEs will be OK too...if we can keep everybody healthy and fit...the glory days of LSU defenses are back! jmho

Not nearly as scary as Godchaux + _______, considering Godchaux is our best DL and was as a true freshman.
And we still have no idea what type of player Valentine is because he's yet to see the field for us. People have put him on such a pedestal that it's gonna be really hard for him to live up to that.
