Robinson not playing hurt us!
Jalen Collins could not play with Bama's #9. When #9 was matched with White, he wasn't very productive, but he ate up Jalen Collins. Having 2 lock down corners would have impacted the entire game. I hope Robinson gets it together & is allowed back.

I thought we did a good job on cooper except when we didn't tackle him on the slant for a td

Meh, I don't see it. Robinson has been very average this year anyway.

That's on Chavis. White should've been on Cooper from the opening kickoff.

I don't think not having Robinson affected the outcome.

That #9 is Amari Cooper. If you don't know the name Amari Cooper then you don't know college football...Which is evident from this post.

Collins played well Saturday night and is having a better season than RR on and off the field.

Not having RR didn't lose this game. Bama's 2 minute drill against our prevent defense did. Remember the Ole Miss game and we stayed aggressive all game even on their final drive? It was refreshing to see that. Then we went back to prevent for this game for that drive and of course the result is different.

There was a distinct difference in our personnel on that play in the middle of the defense.

I will leave it at that.

Sorry ma'am... not sure what game you were watching, but Collins was totally outclassed, COOPER left him behind on every cut he made! This thread wasn't to debate the players "off the field" behavior, only stating the obvious. White & Robinson will both be playing on Sundays...

Robinson not playing definitely was a blow, but Collins is usually pretty solid for us; especially this year. I was wondering the whole time why we didn't have White on Cooper at all times. Our best corner by far. You have an All-SEC Corner, arguably the top in the conference, and you're not going to put him on the best receiver in the country. Tre White was on him like white on rice in that game.

And BTW, Collins is our 2nd best corner this year. I love RR, but he hasn't been all we said he was up to this point. pretty average imo.

Was this while Beckwith was tending to his injury? Was this the same drive he came out of earlier and then Bama magically converts a 3rd and 18? Maybe those were separate drives, but it's so obvious just how much better we are on D when Beckwith is out there.

Losing Beckwith in 2nd quarter for part of the game hurt more than losing Robinson for entire game.
Robinson was not missed.

He does that to just about everyone. He did it numerous times in the Florida game especially. I didn't understand why our best guy wasn't on him from kickoff. IMO, they wouldn't have even scored that TD had White been on him.

Robinson can be so damn good, it's scary. He just needs to get his stuff together in the class room.

Collins did hold his own that night. He was going up against the best WR in the country.

Might not happen at LSU, though.

quit being a little dick. OP doesnt need to know the name of the receiver. his point was that #9was beating collins, which does not require name recognition.

I tend to disagree with the OP. Cooper didnt hurt LSU one bit.

The only reason I replied was to tell you that you are a punk
