Anyone going to the Heisman?

Was a blast in 2019. A little dicier this year with the win not guaranteed...

The Heisman award is supposed to be an individual award. If they give it to Nix because his team is in the playoffs then I lose all respect for what the Heisman has become. A team award for their best player.

I did not know people could go.

I now see you can get tickets for $600 a seat. That is much cheaper than I expected. (For the Gala the next night, not the ceremony)

Yeah, the gala is in a huge ballroom with lots of attendees. To get tix for the ceremony, you have to buy a gala package and then they include them.

Went there twice, including in 2019 when Joe Burrow won the Heisman. Great event.

I still have the room in Marriott Marquis Times Square from the 9th to the 11th. I don't think I can go this year because of health reasons.
