No need to "eat crow." Saying that Daniels was underperforming before was accurate.
He just had his best game as a tiger. Contrary to popular belief around here, college players can improve throughout their careers and we shouldn't overreact to 1 good or bad game. The problem is Daniels would have games last year where he showed flashes of this and then would revert back. I was hoping this year he would start to perform more consistently but he hasn't shown that just yet. Hopefully Saturday was the turning point.

Scott Long on Dandy Don told me this morning the best recipe is to substitute crow for the chicken in his wonderful chicken and sausage Gumbo recipe. Boudreaux's Cajun Road Kill Cookbook also has several good ones.

Saying Daniels was underperforming might have been accurate but those calling for him to head to the bench absolutely should eat crow.
