I’ll take that kid all day long.
I’m talking about Jalon Daniels. Anyone watching Kansas? That kid is good. How is Kansas’ offense look that much better than ours?

Illinois D is bad... really bad. FSU has a really good defense; so, not a direct comparison.

Lol. That guy is good. If we want a dual threat, can we at least have a guy that can throw like that?
And I’ve never hated on our JD. But after watching all the breakdowns of the game, he just don’t have it.

Our Daniels “god help us” is a B+ QB
He reached his ceiling last year
We MUST decide after MSU game who is going to be the QB for us to have great success this year
If Daniels doesn’t play like a heisman QB we need to go with Nuss to salvage what we can this year and be ready to make a serious run next year starting with USC
Will have one more year with Campbell and Jones to give protection
There is no way in hell if we make it to SECCG we beat UGA with Daniels

Illinois lost 3 DB’s to the draft, this isn’t the same Illinois as last year. Jayden would carve up Illinois as well, just saying. Even with Newton on Illinois’s defense.

Lol, that kid would kill it with our athletes. I can’t believe some of these posters think otherwise. He’s a way better QB than our JD. And y’all can look back at all my posts, I don’t know if I’ve ever dogged Jayden. I still love the kid but he just don’t have it as a college QB.

I see what you’re saying now, I don’t know man I think they are pretty close in comparison. Jalon Daniels might have a slightly better arm, but I really think Jayden would carve up this same Illinois team even as the Kansas QB.

I disagree. That guy started running and got out the pocket and kept his eyes downfield and made some great passes. He’s a much better passer than Jayden.

He also threw the ball a few times before his receiver made the break and was on the money. Jayden has hardly ever done that. If ever
