Wade will get away without a show cause and LSU will get very little. He did this because he wanted Wade gone and the NOA gave him what he needed to do it.

The downvoters got their wish!!! Back to a dead period from end of bowl season to baseball season!! Basketball program is dead. We will never find a coach who cares about resurrecting our basketball program like Wade did unless Shaq goes the Deion Sanders route and leaves the TNT desk.

And where does this conclusion derive from? Scott Woodward just wants winners. He won’t fire a winner unless he has to and in this case he had to.

There was no way Will Wade could remain the head basketball coach at LSU. He had to be fired.

Now we get to watch scumbag Nate Oats pick up where Wade left off and win a fricking NCAA title. I will never forgive this fat frick. LSU basketball is what drew my my interest to this school.
Shaq put me on his shoulders at LSU basketball camp when I was a kid.. Torris Bright presented my dad and I a trophy when we won the father/son tournament at camp. Collis Temple III gave me a high five coming out of the tunnel every home game.
All I ever wanted is for this program to win a title and we were headed towards being on the brink of that.
Now we are back to fricking purgatory

Scott Woodward did his best with the football and baseball hiring. Even Kim Mulkey. I don’t think SW really cares about men’s basketball. Not many LSU AD’s have though.
I believe if LSU went cheap on football and baseball and the other sports and bought in in mens basketball solely, then LSU could build a 150 million dollar palace and hire a basketball coach for 15 million a year. And, become a blue blood basketball program. But then the other sports at LSU would be average and the coaches drastically underpaid. We would be a basketball school like everyone wants. Yet football would be like Vanderbilt and the baseball team would suffer.
Can’t dominate all three major sports. Florida did briefly around 2006/07 but it’s almost impossible.
