They lack leadership, no one person is the emotional leader on this team, that fiery guy who will get in anyone’s face , they have no fire ….. dull all the time

You shouldn’t need someone to get in your face or reinforce good fielding or a good at bat.

No, you shouldn’t.
But when a team is playing poorly, it’s good to have that one player whom everyone looks up to that can light a fire under the team’s arse.

These travel ball kids aren't used to losing. They are used to daddy ball coach telling them how awesome they are. They are used to picking a world series to attend based on how sucky the other teams are.
CPM didn't baby them and neither is CJJ.
Could you imagine if these kids had to play for Skip? Holy hell.
