I hate the term "rabid fan base". It just sounds so retarded.

Looks like it was made by the same guy who created their main message board. That board is stuck in the 90's.

Wow. Tech Sideline is actually worse.

Hey I admitted that 11am games against weaker opponents draws less than normal, then you responded well thats what makes your fanbase unrabid or something along those lines, which insinuated that your fanbase always filled up no matter what. As an excuse that was labor day weekend and thats typically one of the busiest weekends at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Stop with those.

you also have two major cities to draw your fans from
Posted on 10/2/11 at 6:37 pm to StraightCashHomey21
and you don't have 3 large cities within 2-5 hours or Morgantown
Posted on 10/2/11 at 6:54 pm to MizzouTiger4Life
none of which are in the state and are all those cities wvu competes with for fans, so the point you are trying to make is worthless

The fact is, WVU is WV's team. Mizzou is not Missouri's #1 team by a long shot.

then who is their college team
Posted on 10/2/11 at 7:43 pm to StraightCashHomey21
Mizzou, but Missouri is an NFL state.

WVU fans want it more. No question about it. Even if Mizzou stays in the B12, they are in a respected conference with other powerhouse teams. If WVU stays in the BE (please God no) we will be there with the likes of Louisville, Cincy, UConn, USF, Rutgers, and then the additions of TCU and possibly Navy or Temple or Villanova or UCF. I also saw SMU was mentioned somewhere.

If you would look at a map you would find...
Pittsburgh, PA - 1 hour
Baltimore, MD - 3 hours
Washington D.C. - 3 hours
Cincinnati, OH - 5 hours
Cleveland, OH - 5 hours
Philadelphia, PA - 5 hours
Charleston, WV - 2.5 hours
Lexington, KY - 5 hours
So you don't know what you are talking about
