Well said. The unsatisfactory state of the TV contracts created the right condition for the SEC to consider expansion, although it wasn't seeking to expand until A&M decided it wanted out. Getting into the Texas market with a school like A&M, at a time when the SEC was looking for a reason to rework its TV deal, was too good an opportunity to pass up, even if it means taking Missouri as a slight stretch at 14.
