Why is it an automatic given that Mizzou will be a part of the west? They very easily could be placed in the east just for the sole reason of avoiding shifting AU to the east. You guys do realize Vandy geographically fits better in the west using this logic.
Conferences do not give a frick anymore about perfect geographical sense. Mizzou very well could be placed in the east.

Agreed. Talking to one of the guys doing training I was in last week who used to be a sports anchor in DFW, and he said it would either be Missouri (making the division breakup interesting) or Maryland, giving inroads to Baltimore and DC markets. As noted, none of the other candidates (FSU, Ga. Tech) add anything, and he said almost unequivocally it would not be Va. Tech.

Fact: Never ever believe jack shite from any sports "media" here in Dallas. Most are Houston rejects and Texas mouth pieces.
