Rather have Va Tech for the Virginia/DC market.

There goes the neighborhood. LSU will rue the day we didn't block expansion.

We're number #2 right now but after aggy gets here recruiting just got that much harder.

Dilution dilution dilution. If texass had come along it might have even been worse.

I think yearly games in Tx would only help LSU's recruiting...

Va Tech comes closer to being a legitimate SEC team - in a few years anyway.

I would prefer either VT or NC State.

But it appears the ACC schools are very united (except maybe for Miami which has its own problems), so neither of these schools may be coming.

WVU, however, is an above-average football program in the basketball-centric (and maybe highly poachable) Big East (and does well in that sport too). Plus its fans travel very well, which is rule #2 for the SEC (tailgating being rule #1). And you expand your territory.

Again not my first or second choice, but don't rule them out either.

If we expand our SEC footprint, I think WVU fits the profile about as well as any outside program, and better than most. I would not be disappointed at all if they became part of the SEC family. I like their program and their style.
