Thoughts regarding the ACC

This is probably me looking through my "I REALLY WANT FSU IN" glasses, but I still think we pick up 2 ACC teams and go to 16.
General Timetable:
Dawn of time - 1990: FSU tries to get into SEC
1990 - SEC invites FSU, choses ACC instead.
...
2003 - Va. Tech gets politiked into the ACC
...
2010 - Col/Neb leave Big XII, A&M threatens to leave, Clemson rumored to be Eastern team pair. A&M caves in and sticks with Texas
Spring/Summer 2011 - Rumor mill starts up with A&M to the SEC
August 2011 - Official word starts coming out about A&M, rumors swirl about FSU being Eastern buddy and having been in talks with them for over a year. Rumors responded to in official statement from the university, "happy in ACC".
Recent Developments:
-ACC unanimously votes to increase buyout from the conference from $13 million to $20 million
-FSU authorizes creation of conference committee to analyze situation, explore conferences.
-Va. Tech issues statement, "happy in ACC"
-Syracuse and Pitt ditch the Big East for the ACC overnight
-West Virginia applies for membership to ACC, SEC; denied by both.
-Rumors of SEC talks with Mizzou as #14 to come in with A&M should the Big XII (-3?) implode
-Syracuse basketball coach mentions FSU/Va. Tech to SEC on ESPN (Can anyone else confirm this? Saw it on one post in a thread, but haven't seen anything of it since)
Looks to me like the SEC got FSU and Va. Tech lined up to come in with A&M, which the ACC caught wind of. When they found out their two biggest football programs were jumping ship, they voted to increase the buyout and said "Screw it, let's raid the Big East and focus on basketball" and brought in Pitt and Syracuse (with only Va. Tech and FSU leaving, there would be no reason for either to vote "no", so they went along with it to keep things under wraps). With two schools from the east already coming in, the SEC shut off talks (if there were any) with WVU and rejected their application to join, which was sent upon finding out that the Big East was crumbling. We started/got serious with talking to Mizzou to come in as the second team from the West to balance divisions and open up the MO markets.

My biggest thing with all this is how to handle it in NCAA 12. I keep changing everything around in my dynasty based on the newest rumor and it's starting to get ridiculous.

Boeheim was speaking about the Quarterback Club in Birmingham on Monday and something to the extent of:

I don't think he has any more information than we have by the sound of things though. I don't think Syracuse really got his opinion on the move prior to making the move to the ACC. So I don't know why he'd have some special insight to what other schools are thinking about doing. He's probably just referencing FSU having that exploratory meeting.

I think some people are thinking of leaving. ... Why would Florida State want to go to the SEC when you're in the ACC and you win banners? Doesn't make sense."

I am of the opinion that a stable ACC is good for the SEC. An unstable ACC gives the B1G too many viable options for expansion. The real advantage in college sports is with those that have the most money. Brining VaTech, FSU or some other ACC teams into the SEC may produce the conference more money but such a move creates the potential that the B1G comes out of the situation with the most money. I certainly don't want the B1G Network subscription fees going from .15 to .85 per month in the States of NY, Mass, MD, VA, NC or FL. That is just for their 3rd tier rights.
I view the ACC grabbing Syracuse and Pitt as a real positive for the SEC.
