I would rather have Panhandle Slim over here to corn-pone us to death than this drivel.

Look here, y'all. What my fellow Ag is trying to say (I think) is: F*** each and every last one of you motherf***er!!! You better pray to the god of toothless, hillbilly football fans that we DON'T come to the SEC, cuz we're gonna wreck shop on your sister-banging asses!!! Got it?

quote:frick that!!! I dont mind A&M but Mizzou, no thanks if it ment losing playing Bama and Auburn. The West would become the Big 12 pt II.
I want A&M and Mizzou but I'm admittedly biased by Arkansas' location.
Sorry I might hate 95% of the SEC teams but I look forward to LSU playing them in the Fall.

I can't count all the reasons I don't want A&M in the SEC. The list of benefits is weak and could care less about.

Here's my objective list for and against adding aTm:
For:
1. Good school (behind vandy and florida)
2. Good athletics (except football)
3. 25 million TV sets = Appx. $34 million in TV per team (those are the estimates)
4. Crazy fans and good game-day atmosphere
5. ????
6. Profit?
Against:
1. Good athletics (except football)
2. weirdos who take themselves waaayy to seriously (myself included, I guess)
3. messing up a good thing (12 teams is great for SEC)
4. Who else do you have to bring in to balance it out, and what kinda shite do you get from them? (uncertainty)
Feel free to add to my list.

Hey Aggie , i hope it happens and i dont care what your tenn buddy said to you, there is little doubt that the majority of SEC fans want you guys in our conference and we welcome you . Hope it happens. I graduated from LSU in 1983 so I remember the rivalry with you guys in the early seventies when I was in middle school and high school and then when the rivalry was renewed. Your post was a good read and again hopefully welcome to the SEC and welcome to the Rant.

I love TexAgs but the some guys on there can be retarded.

Most are just way over-the-top in reactions.

We start multiple threads for everything (so damn annoying).
Uh ... you obviously haven't read this board much yet, have you?

Well he's a current student, big greek guy, his grandfather played there...so maybe he's just more about tradition than most. But you can't deny what SEC personalities are saying. Its not disheartening, and I believe its a long term benefit to both parties.

I know what you mean, but every little idea that comes to someone becomes a new thread. Whenever a big article or link in general comes out, within 10 mins there's 3-4 threads saying the same thing. People make no effort to check.
