lol i wasnt there, but i am willing to bet they were taunting A&M. I know they taunted them once or twice while was an undergrad. They are pissed A&M refuses to play them. If my memory holds the MOB did something during a half time game that really pissed off the A&M brass.

It was 1973 and they made fun of the Corps (doing Nazi goose-stepping) and Reveille. Some "fans" surrounded the MOB bus and the cops had to be called in. Most likely A&M brass wasn't happy; I don't think they have ever played each other since the SWC dissolved.

They have long been my favorite of the smaller bands that that use cutting humor to level the playing field with the big guys. They used to make fun of LSU when we used to play them. Our fans loved it though. When I have more time I will recount one of their best shows from long ago.
