A&M is leaving a division with Texas and OU and now upstart OSU for a division that might not be as tough outside of LSU and Bama with occasional great teams at Ark and Auburn
Of course, tougher teams reside on the other side in Fla, Tenn, Ga, etc.

The big12 south is no SEC west currently, but the big12south division was easily the second hardest division in CFB the last decade. At times, it was probably the hardest division.
We are certainly going to step up the competition, but I think the bigger difference is that the SEC east is MUCH tougher than the big12 north. Nebraska was the only team worth a shite, but now you have UF, UT, UGA, and USC. Much different.

only within it's division. Are you referring to 2008 season? When the best Tech team got arse raped by a good (not great)ole miss team in the cotton? OU got demolished by UF in teh BCSCG, OSU got destroyed by Oregon, and TExas got lucky by playing Ohio St. Baylor and you guys were non-factors. Your OCC schedules were pretty weak too.
