I actually hope Baylor becomes enough of a pain that the Aggie to SEC thing falls apart. I'm not a fan of Baylor, but opposed to Aggie coming to the SEC. The Big 12 should stay together. It makes sense geographically and academically and athletically. Texas is the second biggest state and growing and OK is growing. The region from the plains to the Rio Grande has a stable economy and will have continuous population growth so tv revenue will follow.

Keep aggie in the big 12 and add Colorado State and New Mexico. Those are growing states.

SEC is not scared. Why waste time, money and resources fixing this shite when you can sit back and let aTm do it. They want in here bad enough that they will do what ever it takes now that they have the invite. The SEC doesn't really need to expand but the door is now open for them. If aTm can't make the problem go away, then this is still the most powerful conference in existence. Slive knows aTm will get it done. I am a big fan of other people doing work for me as well.

We aren't afraid of Baylor.

All we're saying is A&M isn't worth getting sued over.

I agree with Slive's approach thus far. It's what jcole4lsu said above, and I have tried to explain that on texags, A&M just has to wait out OU's decision. If they say they are staying and put that in writing, Baylor and the other minor characters will sign the waiver. If they say they are going (along with OSU at a minimum), that conference falls apart and a suit then has no legs. Either way Slive has to do nothing.

However there is one little caveat no one has seemed to consider. If OU, et al, leave and the Big XII falls apart, there is nothing that prevents Baylor and other jackass institutions from filing suit on the SEC anyway since apparently just the attempt to accept A&M led OU to leave and blow up the conference.

Tricky but then you have to know the nature of the devil we have been dealing with over there.
