IF IT'S A frickIN RIVALRY, THEN IT'S A frickIN RIVALRY NO MATTER WHAT...

The expansion will happen no matter what the frick WE want. If it's YOUR choice not to play every year, then so frickin be it....BUT...it'll be your choice...so stop frickin whining about it. If you want to play every year, there's a way.

You start a thread asking for an explanation. You get an explanation, it is not to your liking so you start trashing people with a different opinion than yours. Not the sharpest tool in the shed.

We're expanding to ensure that the SEC remains at the top of the heap.

By adding fricking Mizzou and A&M?

Is that worth destroying a 93 year tradition between the 2 most storied programs in the SEC?

Read the first post....

It isn't rocket science but you would think it was trying to explain it to a Bama fan....

Again, when the rest of the SEC is forced to adopt a permanent opponent from the other division just to preserve their rivalry, does it surprise you that they would think this way?

I'll be shocked if the SEC doesn't move heaven and earth to preserve that game, even if it's to the detriment of every other team in the conference. :truestory:

Even before adding these teams, this should have ended. If OU and Nebraska could do it, you certainly can.

It is for Bama fans. Bama is the most important thing, then the other stuff after. I,m a Bama fan and don't give a damn what Vandy or LSU wants me to think or do. Bama should be playing au and UT every year and if the SEC can't deliver that then F'em.

That wasn't done just for UA & UT. If AU & UGA were being shite on to accomodate Missouri, they would be just as irate. These games are a part of the culture that built this conference.

Then you can go frick yourselves and go be an independent or join another conference.

Every other school that's ever left the SEC has fallen flat on their arse and you would be no exception.

Do it. Please. It would be fun to watch.

LSU doesn't have any rivals so I wouldn't expect you to give a damn. I'm confident Alabama and Tennessee will find a way to continue the series, somehow.

I care about the future for ALL OF US and not waking up one day to see the Pac-16 or some other conference rule the world because they had the foresight to change with the times and we stood around with our thumbs up our asses just to preserve Alabama-Tennessee.

Haha, because Bama has a lot in common with Tulane,Suwanee and GT. Bama is a top five program in the country. Bama would be OK no matter what they did.

Bama brings in a lions share of money to the SEC, paying bills at Vandy OM, MSU, etc.

Bama going independent and selling first tier TV rights to ESPN would be an absolute windfall, and would get to keep 100% for themselves.

Do it then. Seriously. No one school is bigger than the rest of the conference. if you're going to hold us back then I would rather you leave. The future of college football just isn't for you apparently and 50 years from now you're going to wonder how exactly you got passed by.
