this is getting rediculous. nothing has changed since the BigXII said they would be fine without A&M and the BigXII sent the letter to Slive. 0U popping off and openly indicating that they are "exploring other options" since the letter should not = sue A&M and the SEC.
Baylor and ISU don't deserve the tv revenue they think they might get from the BigXII's Fox deal anyway.

I don't get what they are suing for?

I have always been under the impression that the SEC would not care about a flea (Baylor) filing a frivolous lawsuit, particularly when it is now clear the Bix XII-2-1 has itself approached an SEC member (Ark) about taking A&M's place.
First post here. As an Aggie I have appreciated a lot of the support for A&M I have seen here, SEC fans coming to Texags.com and other SEC sites. I look forward to sharing a few mudbugs down your way.

They are also going to have a problem because they didn't sue when Colorado and Nebraska decided to leave last year either. If they all signed off on that letter, they really have no case.

I'm sure that comment by your president wasn't just chance. I'm impressed with the way the SEC plays the game.

This. The SEC has been so calculated in everything so far - curious to see Beebe vs. Slive.

I believe this is why the SEC isn't overtly pursuing ACC schools. Slive and Swofford have a goos working relationship. And Swofford was the last one that had to really deal with all this kind of bulshit when they raided the Big East. My bet is that he's advising Slive on a few things, kind of as protection.

Looks like Beebe screwed this all up. Note the part about his email to Slive slightly before the SEC meeting yesterday.
