Should Texas join Notre Dame as an Independent?

They could have their own Television Network and proclaim they are better then everyone else. Could this work for them???
They could have a permanent series with the Irish.

If Mack Brown were 5 years younger yes, to much uncertainty with Muschamp taking over.

I'm for this since they wouldn't be able to destroy any more conferences.

Notre Dame has the Big East for conference play in other sports. Where would UTw do the same?

I don't think so. They don't have the national following of an ND. Even in down years, people watch ND. When Texas was suffering not so long ago, people stayed away in droves. As long as they play well, they could do well as an independent. A down year or two and they'll suffer. My $.02.
