No matter what happens, Texas & Big 12 is to blame.

We could be watching the most retarded thing to ever happen in CFB w/ this expansion...
It's a money grab by the conferences, and the fans are the ones that are going to suffer in the end.
Why?
1) Everyone seems to think that going to 4 super-conferences of 16 teams will then lead to a +1 playoff for football. Sounds great, but in reality it's not. By going to 4 super-conferences, we will have 64 BCS teams (or whatever they will call them), which is less than today's amount (close to 70). The Boise States and Utahs will still be bitching how unfair the system is.
2) Ignoring the geography of the schools within the conference might be fun the first couple of years because it will feel like bowl games in September, but it will eventually get annoying for the fans.
I hope I am wrong in the end, but WTF are we really doing here?
