. We're losing a little bit already with the Aggies.

The Aggies are more SECish in feel than Vandy, and probably more so than Kentucky as well, especially as it pertains to football. I don't even understand that thought process. You clearly have very limited experience with Kyle Field and their rabid fan base.

Have never attended a game there and have absolutely no desire to do so, hence my original post.

I'm with you BigAppleTiger. I would imagine the excitement of an LSU vs Missouri to be the equivalent of LSU vs La Tech. I would rather watch us play in Mississippi then Missouri, it's closer and it's is still a win

If they don't like it, they can leave.
that's my point. vt, fsu, and clemson all want the sec but it will take time. vt has to deal with virginia politics and fsu/clemson have to deal with uf/usc.

It sucks but it's not like the ACC was ever a good football conference except for a few solid (but perpetually underachieving) programs.

This.

VTs board of directors is appointed by the governor, as well as UVAs. Since UVA pulled a mini coup to get VT in the ACC in the first place, i dont see the governor being happy with VT walking out and leaving UVA with egg on its face. Further more, there has been zero smoke coming from that camp anyways.

different governor and different situation now. but VT isn't really interested so they aren't being pursued.

yeah im sure they are all clamoring to get into a league they have no chance at winning, for marginally more money.

Where in hell did this come from?????
Can you point to ANY CREDIBLE SOURCE that remotely supports this statement? I'll make it easy; just pick one team (VT, FSU, or Clemson) that declares it "wants the SEC".
