I guess Bama will convince SEC to let LSU drop Miss State and Saban doesn't want to play two games in Texas so they will not play Texas A&M

Neinas is saying MO to stay at least thru 2012"
Neinas says Big 12 set for 10 teams in 2012
Don't know if there is a gentlemen's agreement in place or if he's blowing smoke.

Decision from Mizzou must come soon
It looks like Mizzou is negotiating an exit after 2012. The fee would be much lower. That's what CU did, although the conference had to good sense to let them out after one. I don't know why you would want to have a team in your conference that didn't want to be there, but it's the Bovine 9, so who knows why anything happens.

According to league bylaws, leaving with more than six months notice would put MU at risk of forfeiting $25.9 million. With two years notice, it would drop to $10.4 million.
The date by which that notice would have to be submitted has been reported as December 1, 2011, which still remains nearly two months away.

This makes no sense at all.
