Sun sports isn't a UF network.
And LHN isn't a Texas network. It is 100% owned by ESPN.

Sun shows the NBA, MLB, and the NHL
....and LHN will show UTSA football, MLB spring training and some NBA preseason......and other stuff is int he works.

Texas didn't start LHN.....ESPN did.
To wrap up, you were wrong on every point. So, would someone please explain why UF can show hs football on their 3rd tier network and Texas can't?

That's kind of disingenuous. Its 100% branded Texas.. Sun Sports is not branded that way.
That's the thing that drove everyone nuts when the high school games were announced and then when that failed, the highlights were announced.
It may be owned by ESPN, but its branded Texas only.

Sorry man, but UT in SEC country has been, and always will be, the University of Tennessee. In fact, Tennessee was a university before Texas was a state.

The recruiting advantage of the LHN goes beyond ha football broadcast. Thanks to sat radio, I not only get the LM Show in the hill country, but Mack Brown among others.
I tip my hat to MB. Last show I caught, his guest was his strength & conditioning coach. 20 minutes of talk addressing facilities, diet, etc. MB is asking the questions during this segment & twice says, "Mom, if your son comes to UT, he's gonna be cared for".
Now imagine that scenario on a a national TV channel.

LHN is really no different than UF's sun sports network except Sun Sports shows high school football games and no one cares.
Well, other than the fact its not owned by the university and also airs PROFESSIONAL sports... yeah, it's exactly the same.

If the LHN was just to show third tier rights Texas games, no one would care. But it's not that. Texas immediately moved a Big 12 game to their network. It's also a full channel with programming of all sports.
LHN has almost no similarities to TigerVison. It's more akin to the Big Ten Network, only for one tema.

Tiger vision is like ppv for a boxing match. It's just one game, it costs 35 for that one game and then it's gone. It's not on 24 7. Don't try to play the woe is us victim.

Name the "networks". Hint, TigerVision is not a network.

Yeah?
Who else has a 24/7 network branded solely to one school?
(I honestly don't know of another and would like to see it)
