Nobody will jump from the XII to the Mountain West. That's going from an AQ conference to a mid major.
Now, if the XII goes belly up some of the less desirable members will end up in the MWC while Kansas (for hoops) might land in the Big Least.

Apparently they think that if a 14th team is to be added, that A&M will have any kind of sway over that decision:

The only Kansas the SEC would think about adding is the Kansas city market and last I heard Missouri brings that along with St Louis

If you think about it, it actually makes sense for either KSU or Louisville to join the SEC. However, if KSU moves to the SEC, someone from the West would have to move over to the East!!! The logical choices would be Ole Miss or Auburn.
I actually like the idea of bringing in Kansas State!!! It only expands our recruiting to their territory.
