Kansas longs for the SEC, is spurned

The idea the SEC would go after Kansas was also dismissed, though a KU source said that would be a preference for the Jayhawks.
Kentucky would have a hoops rival worth talking about.
Once in a while, they actually have a competitive football team, too.

after playing 1 good team all year (and they lost)
they played one of the worst schedules i've ever seen and barely beat a team playing sean glennan at QB in the orange bowl
