I do not think staying pat should necessarily be seen as "snoozing" or missing some kind of opportunity. We have a great situation right now. We are in huge markets. The only real market we are not in that we would logically make a play for is the state of texas. If the tejas schools opt for the Big 10, then we do not need to make a knee-jerk reaction and grab some school that doesn't bring a whole hell of a lot to the table. Be smart. Be selective. Be strategic.

I get the feeling that the folks in the SEC office have not been sitting at their desks just watching ESPN all this time. I suspect they are sitting on several plans and just deciding which one to execute.

slive needs to invite baylor, southern miss, uab, and tulane.

all this shite about being the best conference is overrated. let's just get some shitty teams in here so we have a better chance of winning
