Kansas - Big East

Kansas St - Big East

Missouri - SEC

Iowa State - CUSA

Oklahoma State - SEC the Pac 14 only wants OU so little brother moves to the SEC

Baylor - SEC bigger footprint in Texas plus adds good all around sports program to the SEC

Texas Tech - Pac 14 package with UTw

Texas A&M - SEC

Oklahoma - Pac 14 without little brother

Texas - Pac 14 brings TT

Alabama and the WDE's will move to the east.

Why? They could play OU/Tex A&M/BYU/Norte Dame etc. ESPN would help them book all kinds of marquee games. I think this is inevitable IMO

no doubt. if anything, texas is much more attractive as a football independent than as a big12 school.

I would if the SEC can't get OU by itself. They would help in basketball (above-average program), not threaten any of the football superpowers, and give Arkansas a nearby rival.

We've actually played them 46 times, including every year from 1950-1980, so there is definitely some history there with them for us unlike if we added OU (15 games) or Mizzou (5 games). I know we would build up rivalries with OU or MU as well but from my understanding we used to not be on good terms with OSU and it was considered a bigger rivarly than most of the schools we played in the SWC outside of Texas.

Kansas - Big East
Kansas St - Big East
Missouri - SEC, maybe BIG
Iowa State - SWC Redux Peasant
Oklahoma State - Pac 12
Baylor - C-USA, form SWC Redux Peasant
Texas Tech - Pac 12 or form SWC Redux Peasant

SWC Redux Peasant league:

Baylor, Iowa State, Rice, UH, SMU, Tulsa, Memphis, UTSA, Texas Tech (not likely),

I would take OSU, Baylor, aTm and Mizzu. That gives the SEC a big foot print in three states. Having four added from the Big 12 should help get the Dallas TV market as well. OU and UTw are wannabe Left Coast tea sippers who do not want to take little brother alone for the ride.
