Does adding A&M, Mizzou, FSU & Clemson water down the SEC?

I think so, maybe just in the short-term, hopefully the addition of Texas as a talent pool keeps the level of competition fierce, that could take several years before bearing fruit, however.
LSU may even have an easier schedule in the short-term.
Adding A&M and Mizzou in the West does not make our division any stronger, if anything it weakens our division

it strengthens the conference in the sense that it severely weakens the Big 12, thus adding to the SEC

but it makes it harder for lsu to win it all

So you don't find A&M and Mizzou stronger than Ole Miss and State.

I hoping they only add 2 teams. A&M moving to the SEC is going to hurt LSU's recruiting in Texas.

I agree Bite. I don`t think people are comprehending just how bad the schedule is going to suck if the league goes to 16. You`re likely going to have a whopping 1 rotating cross divisional game each year. In other words 8 of the 9 SEC games on everyone`s schedule are going to be the same each and every year as opposed to 6 of 9 now. Not only that, you also lose non-conference games as well so say goodbye to the LSU/Oregon and UGA/Boise St type matchups in the future as well. I still don`t get the sentiment that the League HAS to expand to 16 as opposed to 14.

I think they'll move to 4 - 4 team divisions. Play the other 3 in your division then 2 from each of the others. Then semis and a conf championship. Moves the champ to 14 games before the BCS.

Thank you. If anything Ole Miss and Miss State don't want Mizzou and A&M to join. Mizzou will finish towards the 4-8th range in the SEC and that's all. In the Big 12 they finished towards the top half.
