The way Baptist love to split up churches it seems like they would feel right at home with the Big 12 split up!

The HYPOCRISY lies within this board and any A&M fan who thinks Baylor actually blocking them isn't what's best for BU...it's most certainly in our interest in the short term but it's petty as $%#@ and I'd hate to think that's what were about.

Lets try to make this clear. A&M already announced we are leaving the conference. Not you or anybody else can stop that. Your president going back on his word to delay the inevitable is purely in spite and does nothing for your school except smear your name in the media. Just check out twitter if you dont believe me.
This is not in your best interest short or long term.

The last thing BU should be doing is pissing everyone off because when the smoke clears, NO ONE is going to help your school. No one in the former SWC (UH, TCU, Rice, etc) is going to help your inevitable fall to an irrelevant conference and certainly no big12 member.

If one thing has become very clear in this whole mess, its that Baylor is irrelevant and will be for the rest of its existence. The end.

Baylor can play this game all they want, but deep down, Iowa St, Baylor, and the other schools who will potentially be left behind know that the only way the Big 12 can be saved is to let aTm get out as quickly as possible and find a replacement as quickly as possible. I think the other 8 will be happy as peas and carrots feeding off of UT and OU's revenues and playing shitty schedules.

Trying to stall this move will not save the Big 12 or keep aTm from moving along. There is no way the aTm fan base allows their president to wimper back home like a wet dog asking for forgiveness from UT. aTm is gone one way or the other.

Good post. This is exactly the case. A&M will absolutely not be playing sports in the Big XII after June 30, 2012. Baylor is about to get put in line in this Big XII meeting taking place at noon.

baylor...you mean that 10 year agreement that wasn't signed? That we decided we didn't want to because of what we saw going on? ok...
