Again, it was about money, not competition. If you think Texas is scared to play people they are sadly mistaken.

Of course you're right.

Only people on message boards use phrases like "scared of competition" especially in the cyclical world of college football. The University of Texas wants the most profitable situation for long term growth and prosperity for its entire university.

People in power charged to make financial decisions don't view the world through the prism of hoisting the BCS crystal ball.

Atlantic Coast Conference

no.

TCU is going to find out that traveling to the Big east for girls volleyball is a dumb idea, cost wise.

Tex should ask the SEC. Tex and Tex A&M can both come over.

And if Tex joins one of the close-by non-AQ's, and brings Baylor and the two Kansas's with them, that conference would get AQ status soon enough.

It's not just about who they play, but how many. Texas...and Oklahoma for that matter...are both opposed to conference championship games and have said so publicly.

How are we mistaken? When has UT chosen a tough out of conference game? Not to mention the whole against a conference championship game mentality. Easy way is the Longhorn way.

They had a series with Ohio State in the past few years back when both schools were perennial BCS title contenders.

90% of their OOC schedule may be cupcakes, but they did have that one particular high-profile home-and-home recently.

TEXAS WILL NOT JOIN THE SEC! Someone from the ACC wil join the SEC East. Texas doesn't have the balls to play, Alabama and LSU in the same season.
