Pricey tickets or not your team is your team. We pay the same price you do and sell more. Looks like a fanbase personal problem to me.

I originally posted not knowing my team was still Texas. I said "we" (meaning Arkansas) and they saw Texas and thought I was Texas. So I changed it to okie state just to show you could change your team to whatever and then they thought I was an okie state fan yet I stated I was an Arkansas fan.

This entire thread is FAIL beginning with the title. "Arkie" hasn't sold their allotment, and no where in the thread that the OP linked to does it say that they had sold their allotment. OP just pulled that "fact" out of his arse.
Also, anyone who pays $85 or $125 for a seat so bad that you're going to watch the entire game on the jumbotron is a fool, IMO. If you've got $225 to burn for a ticket to a non-conference game, you're a richer man than I.
Again, move this game to the Cotton Bowl the last week of the State Fair and cut ticket prices by about half, and I would be all over this.

One of the owners of texags.com interviewed Arkansas play-by-play man Chuck Barrett today. Barrett thinks that this series is going to go to a home and home series because Arkansas already has to play some home games in Little Rock.

Probably part of the reason that the Aggie athletic department was so broke it had to borrow money from the school to improve facilities a couple of years back.

If that's the attitude of your fan base, then you're not going to fit very well into the SEC. LSU fans went in droves to Dallas. Georgia fans did as well to go right up the road to the Georgia Dome for their game with Boise. Pretty pitiful you can't sell your allotment for a game a couple of hours up the road.
