They get fd in the a by the Sooners every year but it doesn't do shite to their arrogance.

yea..cause they bring sooo much to the table besides an up and coming football program
What do you care? Seriously? Do you work in the Big 12 business office?
As a fan, all you should care about is football. The "finances" are and should be none of your worry.
All this hiding behind "markets" and "academics" is simply being scared. Yes, Texas is scared of Boise State. Just like they would not invite TCU until now TCU is losing... funny how that works.

Is that their football graduation rate?
Overall 4 year graduation rate is 6%.
6 year is 23%. I've tried and have yet to find a school as low as 6% in 4 years.
Football graduation rate is 58%. They may be the only school on the planet that has smarter football players than the student body as a whole.

One school left and another school is invited to take its place...funny how that works.

This is the most ignorant statement I have read on this board outside of an aggie saying they now have the best athletic department in the SEC.
Boise State is a tiny school with a decent football program that would add nothing to the Big 12. TCU won the rose bowl last year.

I'm as against Boise joining any BCS conference until they improve some things, but I have to take issue with that.
Boise: 19,993
TCU: 9,142
TCU is now the smallest school in the Big XII - 2 - 1 + 1 by 6000 students.
(for comparisons sake, LSU has 28,871)
Boise and TCU both have the same number of living alum, probably due to the fact that Boise didn't become a university until 1974 and has a horrible graduation rate.
Didn't Boise beat TCU in the Fiesta bowl a couple of years ago?

Fair point, but try comparing endowments:
BSU: 61 million
TCU: 1.2 billion

Colorado left and I didn't see a TCU invite. Funny how that works.

At that point in time, there were 4 Texas teams still in the conference..so we should have made half the Big 12-2 up on Texas schools?
So, UF supposedly doesn't want another FL school in the SEC because they're scared of FSU, USF, etc? UK doesn't want to add Louisville for the same reason?
With all the realignment news that has been spread around for the last year or so, I'm surprised that you have found yourself stuck with
such a simple minded idea that a team would be excluded from a conference because they are too good?

I would love for both of them to lose somehow, I despise both of those schools
