doesn't make sense

saying you're the best team in conference 1 doesn't mean you're better than the 2nd team in conference 2

The lack of foresite by the BCS elders that refused to have a playoff are partly responsible for the super conferences

4 superconferences would effectively make an 8 team playoff with the conference championship games

They are trying to maintain bowls and provide a quasi playoff between 4 super conference champs.
