WWL also is in the know with Scott Rabalais. What a team.

New uncertainty in Auburn, Tuberville saga
Posted by Phillip Marshall, The Huntsville Times November 27, 2007 10:37 PM
In the ever-changing saga of Auburn football and athletic director's Jay Jacobs' discussions with coach Tommy Tuberville, there is new uncertainty.

What was described earlier Tuesday as an agreement in principle on a new contract was apparently an agreement on the length of a new contract. Other contractual issues apparently remain to be resolved.

If other issues are settled, the proposed new contract would run through the 2014 season. Tuberville's current contract, which will pay him approximately $2.8 million next season, runs through the 2011 season.

Meanwhile, Arkansas is looking at Tuberville with growing interest in its search for a coach to replace Houston Nutt, who resigned Monday night and was named head coach at Ole Miss on Tuesday morning.

A source close to the Arkansas search said that a move is under way to raise the money to lure Tuberville, a native of Camden, Ark., away from Auburn, where he is at the end of his ninth season.

Tuberville and Jacobs met for most of the day Tuesday and are scheduled to meet again Wednesday. It is uncertain if there will be an announcement after Wednesday's meetings

No school is going go pay the $6 million buyout, especially not LSU. I wish his name would quit being mentioned as the next LSU coach. Lazy reporting and over repeated internet rumors is all this is.

jimbo was turn down by san diego st and uab. why would we(we won't) even mention his name. the only thing he has in common with sos(come to think about it he has nothing in common). by the way i'm not a sos fan, he is past his prime.

I hear they are talking and he is listening but I'm pretty sure it's just to get more money... don't blame him.
