I'm looking for legit reasons for and again him and this is weak.
He's clearly hamstrung by ND's academic standards. That won't be a problem here.
I don't know how ND picks schedules but I'd bank that it isn't a head coaching choice, so why blame him for weak scheduling?
He's not who I would've liked..but whatever. Bring it. At least he'll give the offense some sort of identity. Even if it's a weird fit IMO.

This is the best hire we could have made outside of Saban and Urban Meyer. LSU is more than capable compared to Notre Dame.
