It comes with the territory of being a top program. Its happened to Stoops, Carroll, Fulmer, Richt, Brown, etc.

Right. In this case, they want our coach. But, you don't be a top program for long by accident. They know we have good coaching going on.

but i am confused rocket, as to why now with carr, if not to screw lsu. i understand, their season is done, well not really, so to them it dont matter who they piss on. just my two cents there.
and this means carr does not do the bowl game? did he say after or right now? that is not even good for michigan. i am still looking for the class that carr is showing.

No way, for the people who want Les to stay, this is perfect. Michigan has to pick someone before January, if they don't it would mess up recruiting and possible coordinator hires. Also, Miles is a student of Bo, who believed that a coach should be fully devoted to the team he is coaching. Therefore, my guess is, in the situation that Mich. offers Miles, he can't accept. A chance at a NC is too big for even him to leave for Mich., and b/c he won't accept and still coach the bowl game, he declines.
Now, the reason I think he keeps his talk of no thought of it, is b/c he thinks they might wait until after the BCSNCG, but there's very little chance of that happening.

Disclaimer: Obviously a loss to Ark. or SECCG, throws all this out the window.
